Absolut Metronome app for iPhone and iPad

Absolut Metronome is one of the most timing accurate metronome application in the market, with only 22 microseconds error. It uses the Queue Audio framework instead of the less accurate timers.

This application is not a drum machine or beatbox; its only a metronome to beat time for the most used bar: simple and compound time signatures. Next version will include complex, mixed and additive time signature.

The application is also multitasking. You do not lose the beat when the iPhone blocks or when the iPhone screen gets dark. That is very important: The musician does not need to unblock the iPhone while playing music at any time.

The method to keep time is very original: Its a watch sphere and the needle gets a complete turnabout every bar. Of course, the sphere splits in beats or in beats and divisions.

The sound come from an XIX century mechanic french metronome.

The system, automatically accents every beats or divisions in the bar.

In order to setup the metronome, we can choose:

* Time signature: for simple and compound bar (duple, triple and quadruple time).

* Divisions: With or without beat divisions.

* Tempo: From 10 pulses per minute (Larghissimo) to 210 pulses per minute (Prestissimo)
